We were all set to head out the next day when I noticed my youngest started coughing. I was feeling a little off myself, and my middle child and oldest were a little nauseous. “Uh oh,” I thought to myself. The last couple of times we all came down with different symptoms at the same time, it was either strep or Covid. We still had a bunch of Covid tests left over from earlier this year, so I swabbed each of us. Sure enough, my youngest’s test came up positive immediately. The rest of us were negative at this point, but by end of the following week, 4/5 of us would have positive tests. My oldest had symptoms but never tested positive.
Unfortunately, we needed to postpone the trip to Labor Day Weekend instead. Room 10 was already reserved for the weekend of our trip, but we were assured the room we were assigned experienced some activity as well.
